Chance Avenue Productions is the virtual studio of Grant Chastain and Sean McDevitt.

Realizing individually we could never take over the world, we have teamed up to become a force for wildly imaginative paper movies and other creative pursuits. Primarily the two of us are friends who respect each other’s work, with skills and points of view that compliment one another. It only seemed natural that we’d work together toward conquering new creative realms.

The main goal is to pool resources and brainwaves. Together we share the Chance Avenue website, exhibit together at conventions, collaborate on projects in various media, and lean on each other for inspiration and creative guidance. A few things we’ve written include comics, short fiction, essays, articles, radio commercials, screenplays, pitches, websites, smart remarks, speeches, blog posts and little to-do lists.

Grant Chastain is, first and foremost, a creator that enjoys bending words to do his bidding.  Besides being the creator of the critically-acclaimed graphic novel series Corrective Measures and the Moonbeam Children’s Book Award-Winning The Gwaii, he is also currently hard at work on his first full-length novel, entitled My Year of Suicides.  Somehow in between all this, he finds time for the occasional foray into voice acting and online bloggery.  You can follow him on Twitter at twitter.com/GrantChastain.

Sean McDevitt was born at an early age. He is a prolific consumer of RSS feeds and occasionally spits out a comic book script or magazine article. He created Slip Kid and The Beautiful Kill and is working on a collection of his essays and short fiction called, Rocketship of the Mind.
